Eclipse or Guardian

So since I can't afford the Delta Operations Pack (so unless I get it for free from a contest
) looking at the two new cruiser ships for Kate So now that we've seen both ships in action thanks to Smirk which is the better of the two in your guys opinion?

According to
http://bit.ly/STOShips, the Eclipse has 2 hybrid boff slots, while the Guardian only has 1. If you intend to get good use out of Intelligence boffs, grab the Eclipse. Intelligence boffs aside, the other boff difference between the ships is the choice between a LTC Eng or Sci. Personally, I think I would prefer having the LTC Sci of the Guardian for a more balanced set of abilities.
Another thing to consider is that the Eclipse is a Battle Cruiser, while the Guardian is a Cruiser. This will cause differences in turn rates and stuff, along with the available Cruiser Commands and power level bonuses.
